Katy Trail - 20th Year / 2010

Self Guided Cycling

Bike the Katy Trail, America’s longest rail-to-trail path. This 225 mile long Missouri state park has grown in popularity in its brief 19 years. Local residents enjoy day use and cyclists from all over are making it a vacation destination. Our self guided bike tours give you the best of the Katy Trail.

All Katy Trail self guided (independent) cycling tours include daily luggage transfer, lodging, breakfast, directions, maps, transportation to starting point and a HELP number.

The Trail closely follows Lewis and Clark’s path up the Missouri river in 1804 with their Corps of Discovery. The cycling route is generally flat as it follows the roadbed of the former Missouri, Kansas, and Texas railroad (MKT). Large parts of the trail run through Missouri’s wine country.
