Katy Trail
Your Tour Plan - How it Works
The Katy Trail runs generally west to east from Clinton (mile marker 264.6) in western Missouri to St. Charles (mile marker 39.5) at the eastern end of the trail in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
Three tours (#10, 11 and 12) begin with pick-up in St. Charles with door to door van transportation to your starting point. Either way you can park your car at the pick up spot. If you are renting a bike the shop is nearby.
After a first overnight at the western starting point you will cycle eastbound over multiple days ending at the eastern end of the trail at St. Charles (mile marker 39.5). In most cases you will ride right up to your parked car or to return your rented bicycle.
Two tours (#13 and 14) begin with arrival at Rocheport. Park your vehicle there while cycling eastbound over multiple days to Hermann or augusta. Our shuttle will transport you back to your vehicle at Rocheport on the morning of your departure day.
Your luggage will be moved each day and we provide transportation for you and bikes across a busy highway bridge to your evening lodging at Jefferson City. The other Katy Trail communities are on the trail side of the river or do not require transportation across a river.
