Total Performance Racing has revolutionized the cam chain tensioner for the Polaris RZR engine platform, delivering the ability to adjust chain tightness while the engine is running!
The TPR tensioner allows for proper setting on cold starts and then again, with the turn of a knob, after the engine gets hot. This keeps the chain taught at the proper tension, virtually eliminating jumping teeth on the gears and causing catastrophic engine damage.
Easy turn knob with easy to read laser indicators delivers precise tuning that also eliminates cam chain noise. CNC machined in-house at our state-of-the-art R&D facility, the tensioner body and tuning knob are made from 6061 billet aluminum, the shaft and foot internals from 17-4 stainless steel.
